Currently residing on the front range of northern Colorado, Ms. Davis has appeared in recital and in concert with area performing groups, including the Dvorak Stabat Mater with the Boulder Symphony, and the Brahms Requiem with the Boulder Chorale. She was also featured with the Boulder Chorale in their concert titled “Rhythm Planet,” which “explored the ways in which rhythm is integral to music from a variety of countries and cultures.” In 2023 Ms. Davis was the soprano soloist for the Messiah Festival of the Arts in Lindsborg, KS, which takes place on the campus of Bethany College, her alma mater. She also performs with Prima, three singers and a pianist who found deep resonance with one another vocally and personally. 


Prior to moving to Colorado, Ms. Davis lived in New York on Long Island, where career highlights included performing with the International Vocal Arts Institute under the leadership of Joan Dornemann and singing the role of Anina in the Bronx Opera production of La Traviata directed by Michael Spiermann. She was active in church music as a vocal soloist, pianist, and children’s choir director and taught private piano and voice lessons while raising her three children with her husband.


Ms. Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts in music education and vocal performance with a sacred music minor from Bethany College in Lindsborg KS. She returned to Bethany as an adjunct professor of voice for two years, during which time she also taught at McPherson College. Ms. Davis holds a Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Northern Iowa, where she studied with Leslie Morgan. Her education has continued through numerous teachers and coaches, including Inci Bashar and Rebecca Copley in Kansas, Ashley Putnam, Joan Dornemann, Carrie Anne Matheson, and Debra Birnbaum in New York, Michelle Wegwart in Nottingham, England, and Julie Simson in Colorado.
